About the author
Dan Brunton's early interest in natural history grew into a career during which he has produced over 200 nature-related publications in 20 years. He is a past president of the OFNC and has served as director of the Federation of Ontario Naturalists. As a natural resources and interpretive consultant, he has contributed considerable expertise to regional environmental planning. His experience in places far afield has confirmed a long held view that Canada's capital offers truly extraordinary opportunities for those alert to its natural features.
