Rockroses of the Ottawa District
Called Rockroses, "because some have flowers that superficially resemble roses and because they grow in rocky places," only three members of this family of shrubs, subshrubs and herbs are hardy enough to grow in the Ottawa area. This 4-page article contains descriptions of these local species and their habitat, followed by a key to their identification. Illustrated by Marcel Jomphe.
