| How to find the Fletcher Wildlife Garden
The FWG is only a few miles from the centre of Ottawa. By busThe number 3 bus comes along Prince of Wales Drive and stops near the entrance to the FWG. OCTranspo mapThe closest O-Train stop is at Carleton University. From there, walk toward the Rideau Canal, cross the canal at Hartwell's Locks and veer right up the hill to enter the FWG at its southeast corner. By carFrom downtown, take the Queen Elizabeth Driveway on
the west side of the Rideau Canal. After skirting Dow's Lake, the road becomes Prince of Wales
Drive. Continue on this road around the traffic circle in the Central Experimental Farm. As you head
south, watch for the billboard-style sign with our heron logo. It will be on your left.
Coming from the west end of the city, head east on Baseline Road. Turn left on Prince of Wales and watch for the sign with the heron on your right.
